A very shocking but welcome bit of yuri news this weekend! It appears that North American manga publisher, One Piece Books, has licensed Takashi Ikeda's slice-of-life yuri manga, Sasameki Koto! XD The manga will be released under the English title of Whispered Words, and a listing for it has already appeared on Amazon. The manga will begin release on May 13, 2014.This is great news to have yet another yuri manga see release here in North America, and a very well loved series for that matter! :D While it is not known how many volumes will be made for the English release it is safe to assume we may see the omnibus format for this series which clocks in at 9 volumes in Japan. 2014 looks like it is shaping up to be a good year for yuri and I will keep you all posted on any news developments as they come up! :)
